they had a loan specialist give me her direct line and email. My last car I went directly through her and set up the entire transaction (including payoff/title transfer) at a local branch nearby the car I was buying. Both the seller and I were processed in 30 minutes total. It was awesome. Much better than spending all day at the dealership.

And it's not like I'm spending big money either. My interest rates are low and my cars are 17-12 years old, 100-128k miles. Well below what the dealership (or MACU's website) claim they will take. I just call, give 'em my name, and I'm approved with the days' lowest rates. It's great!
