I’d hate to juggle a handful of cards, and have never been inclined to chase the extra monthly bonus % points that appear randomly. But it’s not overly complicated for me to manage one card for restaurants and travel (CSR), and then use the other (Costco) for everything else.

The Costco seems like it yields a little over 1K in cash back per year, which is a nice chunk as we don’t incur interest. And the CSR has a nice sign up bonus and 3x points when used for restaurants and travel, in addition to a 50% point multiple when you spend the points via the CSR portal. Nice trip every other year or so.
