When looking at the trades in aggregate, they basically traded down in the first
round, then they gave away two future 2nd round picks (along with Bradley and Favors)

and in return they got a second round pick.

So in my eyes I guess I view it as a "net loss" of trading down in the 1st round along with losing a second round pick (since we gave up 2 second rounders but gained one in the first trade).

If the Jazz were targeting Udoka the whole time, though, then moving down didn't really cost them much though so it's really just losing a future 2nd round pick that is all the Jazz really lost.
