of scheduling a game on that date if it is not Washington. So why not accept a coin flip possibility of adding a solid P5 opponent? If they have to pull out, what have we lost that we could realistically have on that date? Nothing. That may not be the case later on as we may have more opportunities for guarantees but I imagine to add quality opponents there will need to be some measure of uncertainty. I don’t think many P5 teams will be capable of making guarantees in such a fluid situation.
