One difference is how the ports are located. On the Dell you can plug them pointing up, while the LG is plugged in horizontal. This may or may not be a preference depending on your setup.

I know the Dell support Power Delivery (PD) over Type-C to power the laptop. It wasn't clear to me in the LG spec what PD is supported over Type-C.
