BYU had their reasons but the fact of the matter is BYU claimed they’d play anyone, anywhere, anytime. They said that via social media and via Zach’s headband that they allowed on TV. No less than 24 hours after making that claim, they turned down an offer from a P5 school. Again, they have very good reasons for doing so but that’s not what the media cares about.
