Only one works at a time. Why? I know there is a way for ethernet port aggregation so I can have two devices connected to my modem like an Xbox and router at the same time. I also know that I can just run my Xbox through the router. My current router is old (long story) and only pushes about 55 mbps when directly linked. Is it worth setting up port aggregation? Would that split the 200 mbps if I do that? Benefits to doing that? Why even have two ports on a modem? Shouldn't that be just plug and play?
