In general, I'd agree with you. I think all BYU is looking for is if they are traveling a guaranteed covering of their expenses. That's simply all this is about. It's the $$$. One of you thinking BYU is so horrible not jumping at the chance to play P5!! P5!!! P5!!! please explain
why with a very low chance of actually playing the game, that you'd travel up to Washington, rent hotels, pay for travel, then politely be told.. oh I'm sorry, Utah is playing. What about the bills? Sorry, that's the price you pay when you work with the PAC12.
That's just ridiculous and makes zero financial sense. PR wise they can choke on an egg for all I care (the pundits). Anyone at that
level is a bit more sophisticated and intelligent than the average sports board forum dude who's whining about it right now. Holmoe
is doing a great job keeping his yapper shut and just being above the air pollution about this situation. If the Washington admin did
leak it, it's more a reflection on their program than BYU. Other programs in the SEC, BIG12 and BIG10 will notice how BYU was
treated and it will affect the PAC12 and their non-conference schedules more than BYU. BYU will in the long run come off as the
good guys.
