every turn there is an entity or person who is out to get BYU and that BYU is entirely innocent and just gets picked on. So why is that? Why does it seem that so many have an issue with BYU meanwhile other schools don’t seem to run into this let alone from nearly all angles.

In life, when a person or entity alleges that several others are against them it’s common to question the common denominator and ask “but why is it that several others seem to be against you when they don’t generally have problems with others?”

For the record, I think BYU is at least deserving of a NY6 game and with at least one other competitive matchup and win they might even deserve playoff considerations. That would be amazing to me.

The consensus opinion on CB is that Independence is better than the AAC and MWC. Ok, I disagree but let’s say most of CB is right and independence is in fact widely considered to be superior — so why does BYU seem to get such little respect so often?

We know it’s not independence.

We know it’s not BYU’s fault.

So what exactly is going on? Is much of the college football world just out to get BYU? If yes, then why is that?
