(the CFP committee) have this kind of power over me? They are basically like a glorified group of guys hanging out at a bar, pontificating about who is good and who sucks, who is "deserving" and who "meets the eye test", barely disguising their animus against BYU. These are the same kind of people who regularly give BYU the shaft in March Madness selection and seeding (happens every year in other sports as well, like women's soccer in 2015 and 2016), sneering down their "we are better than you" noses all the while. I'm sick of the whole thing. I'm ticked off with nowhere to go and nothing to do to feel better.

I feel like a battered child who has to go back for more abuse because I have nowhere else to go. Powerless and in despair.
