It is pretty clear from Holmoe's statements that we were only willing to play

if UW would guarantee a game with us even if another PAC-12 team became available. We should have accepted their offer to play as a backup to another PAC-12 game becoming available. If we had accepted this deal we would certainly be be viewed more favorably than we currently are. I never said I thought Kalani or the team was afraid, that is irrelevant.
