BYU got a P5 slot in a conference. They would most likely spend the first few years in the bottom third of the league. Then, after that break-in period they would likely move up to the middle third, where they would spend the majority of their time. Every 15-20 years they would ascend into the top third and actually challenge for the conference championship. Over the long run, however, BYU would average a 8-4 or 7-5 record. I would be happy with that. Many on here couldn’t survive the first 4-6 years of getting smacked around.
