The CFP is a Monopoly for the P5. Let's Jimmer a campaign to BUST it up!
I used to work for the US Senate Judiciary Committee, the committee that enforces Antitrust laws. I was present at the hearings where Coach Edwards testified against the BCS being a monopoly for high-revenue bowl games and national championship opportunities for "BCS" schools. The CFP Committee is the modern-day iteration of the BCS. It is a cartel that needs busting up.

Both senators from Utah are BYU graduates, and one of them - Mike Lee - sits on the Judiciary Committee. In fact, Lee chairs the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights. That means he can set the agenda for that subcommittee and bring actionable items to the full committee and then the Senate floor. (That's a big deal.)

I would strongly encourage every BYU Football fan who feels that what happened to BYU yesterday is wrong to call Senator Lee's office and demand hearings examining the cartel-like monopoly of the College Football Playoff and the NY6 Bowls favoring P5 teams and excluding deserving teams like BYU.

For your information, Senator Lee's office number is 202-224-5444. However, because tomorrow is Thanksgiving, Lee will not be in the office in DC. It is likely he will be in his SLC office this afternoon and Friday. That number is 801-524-5933.

We should all also contact Mitt Romney's office to encourage the same. His numbers are 801-524-4380 and 202-224-5251.

Also, Mike Crapo of Idaho is a BYU graduate and he is on the Judiciary Committee. His numbers are 202-224-6142 and (208) 334-1776.

Let's Jimmer this thing to create some positive change for our Boys in Blue!
