Never used a Traeger before but have been smoking on my BGE for the last three years. I've always loved turkey

but never knew I could like it this much. We now cook two 14 pound birds ever year and our family gobbles (pardon the pun) up the left overs.

Traeger has to move more air to keep temp. Kamado keeps the moisture because

I usually put a folded wool blanket on the top to help keep the temp even.

They do better in hot weather in my experience. Sold my traeger years ago tho
