If money were taken from their pocket - they will react.

If they are successful at keeping BYU out (they have to take a Go5 anyway) then they keep their money. It will not motivate them to change. It may amp up some pressure from fans/media but it will not make the committee/CFP heads make a change.

But again, BYU in costs them money they were not planning on giving to others, that will be what would make them want to change...
