alright, but pretty heavy undertow. Our private beach on the west side of town was the same way. Snorkeling wasn't great either. We did a cruise that included a trip out to the famous Cabo rock, which was okay. We also did a cruise where we went out and saw the stingrays jumping out of the water all over the place. That was cool. The ATV excursion through the desert and on the west beach was great. My assessment of Cabo is that it's primarily suited for drinkers though. Lots of alcohol laden sunset cruises and places like Cabo Wabo/El Squid Roe that cater to people who are there to party and drink.
