Independence makes this hard. Upset teams or conferences too much and . . .
they won't play you anymore.
That said, I'm all for sticking it to the NCAA. As BYU has learned, it's better not to self-report. Ever. And to fight tooth and nail against anything the NCAA tries.
At this point, I'm pretty much resigned to BYU no longer participating in football within the next decade.
