Total guess. Just the way he went down and the rush MRI...
Make me think he will need surgery. Non- contact knee injuries like that are usually MCL, ACL or meniscus.
They probably wouldn’t have done a rush MRI for a low grade MCL.
Context clues make me think the case is surgical and there is surgery upcoming early next week.
