And once the B12 was able to have a CCG w/o 12 members, then they were able to get the money without adding two more teams. As long as the P5 cartel keeps making (all too predictable) decisions creating significant barriers to entry, BYU will not get in. There is no reason for them to allow it.
The CFP ranking this week confirmed that the P5 will make sure that all barriers remain artificially high. Monopolies tend to behave the same decade in and decade out.
