Their fans are traumatized by us beating them the last two years
Seriously are. I know lots and lots of them. They don’t like BSU playing BYU. They’d rather schedule a high school team they can beat by 50. I tried to explain that if they had beaten BYU they’d likely be in the top 20, in the running to leap UC if they lost. But nope. BYU on the schedule is just too risky.
Reason # 36 you don’t want to model our schedule after BSU. They have a slim margin and a low ceiling.
