Exactly. Politics precede performance. Why do we let that happen?
Why do we allow the political aspect of college football reign? Basketball has an actual tournament. The only politics there are the few bubble teams on the edge and seeding. Other than that, every conference gets a shot and it is won on the court. Football should be settled on the field. Not by some washed up ADs who will ALWAYS have an agenda.
