Obviously there's a hope that things could fall into place and Utah could stay in contention, but looking at the attrition, a step back was to be expected. Unless you're Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, maybe Georgia, Florida or a few others, there's a cycle. Utah is a quality P5 team, but they're clearly not in that elite category and anyone thinking so is living in a fantasy world.
