first note: I never played baseball, other than goofing around. I played church softball. My 10 year-old son was at bat (he was a really good hitter-no homers, but he would get on base almost every at bat). I yelled some advice, and he turned his head towards me and yelled "you want to come out here and do it?" That is when I realized that I had no real ground to advise him, and probably needed to lighten up.
