That simple. From those on this board, it sounds like they thought the PAC12 conditions were too onerous/unfair for BYU to agree to.

I'm not even disagreeing with that take. I'm just saying that if a G5 (or equivalently, a non-ND independent) team wants a P5 game this season, they'll need to agree to some onerous/unfair conditions.
