Don't underestimate the impact of all the blowback the CFP Committee has been getting this week. If they lose too much credibility (which they have this week), people start to really question what the process is that they're following, who's actually on this committee anyways, and why do we have them in the first place? It's all a house of cards and they want to milk this cash cow as long as they can. Once the masses are onto the scam, they'll try to move to the next scam where select conferences get an unfair bias.
Not likely that they'll move us up to Cincinnati range (where we should be), but I'd be happy for a correction to 10 or so.
