So last week the #13 team in the land played against the number 17 team, a game
In which both teams had two losses. The prior won by three points as the latter missed a 56 yard field goal as time expired. The CFP met and decided that this number 13, on the strength of their win, needed to move into the top 10. If BYU wins on Saturday against an undefeated #18, do we get the same love from the CFP? I submit that we would not, and further more, if we loose we may wake up on Wednesday unranked given the CFPs obvious bias.
In a perfect world, a BYU win against this opponent would be enough to pass cincy in the rankings as it would be more of a quality win than they have, considering the floundering of smu, army, and CF. But who really knows.. I am just glad it is happening, and I hope Kalani is hyping the heck out of this one, we can’t come in flat against these guys.
