1. Yes, we lost most of our games and he filled them. But so did all the other ADs in similar positions. Other ADs, however, were able to get P5s on the schedule. We got zero. Not saying he did a horrible job, but not incredible by any means.
2. The UW fiasco. While we're mostly in the dark still, we do know that his actions ultimately resulted in a major hit to the BYU brand. Lots of people see us as dodging UW. This not only affects our chances for a NY6 bowl, but also hurts the brand moving forward. His silence was deafening on this topic.
3. It's crazy that we don't have better access to a NY6 bowl. He totally missed in getting BYU any access when this was discussed/decided back in 2013. Notre Dame did though. Did we even try? It's been 7 years, has he been able to improve our access? Nope. Worst part is that it's probably in the cabal's best interest to provide BYU better access. If a NY6 game was slotted for a "non-P5", then there would be no chance whatsoever of losing two seats at the table. This makes me think that TH didn't even try.
