I wasn't in the game long enough to see millions racked up. However yes.
We put up about 280k-300k miles per year on our truck. Averaged about 6k miles a week, were constantly up against our clocks. (Only allowed 11 hours of driving per day, 70 total over an 8 day period) There were definitely ways of circumventing that slightly, but sometimes the truck just had to stop for a bit. Generally only 12 hours to get one of the drivers fully reset.

Typically 3-4 months at a time, then home for about 2 weeks. Not a lifestyle I would recommend for a family man. But some drivers go home for the weekends or something similar. However they are making orders of magnitude less money than the drivers that are always moving. Of course.
