I decided I didn’t want the ads to use any of my search history or websites that I visit so I went through a ton of work to turn off those settings either via certain websites or via the advertisers. At that point the advertisers had minimal information about me… I.E.I was male between the ages of 20 and 35. You can guess what types of ads I got all of the sudden but they were nothing to do with my browsing and everything to do with my gender and age.

I immediately wanted to the ads to go back to the targeted ones based off my browsing history.
