I think some of the complaints are he's getting a lot of playing time, whereas other freshmen in his situation are riding the pine
until they can prove they are not a liability but a positive contributor on the floor. He's not at that point yet and could cost us
a game or two in an important stretch of our conference season.
I will say he's a decent rebounder, but he does look lost in the offense and that's a problem. He needs to figure it out faster
or he's going to need to watch and practice like 99% of the other freshman. They seem to make other guys sit when they are
not getting the offense, like George. It's a bit puzzling why Pope is inconsistent with Lohner.
I at least am not advocating that anyone gives up on Lohner, just make him earn his stripes like everyone else.
