Understood...I guess I should've phrased it this way: if you can't pay cash
what % of income makes the most sense financially? I'm not worried about qualifying for a loan (that is easy and we have excellent credit, plus we could put money down, but with a VA loan I don't need to), rather what makes the most fiscal sense.
