The Trib, Salt Lake radio hosts, Ute fandom, etc are not part of our daily interactions. The Utah utes are not a defacto second team to us. They are instead this collection of vile miscreants that sometimes play sports contests against our local college teams. I am forever explaining to my friends at work the latest embarrassing antics of the ute nation is just how they are. Most blame Larry Scott for inviting them into the conference and lament that they probably can’t kick the utes out of the conference when he is fired.
