Agreed. But...
no such thing as a riskless investment. Today, there are better alt coins out there but the one people still talk about and buy is BTC. There are two worries that I have that could ruin my day. 1) USA turns into China and bans all crypto coin (I think highly unlikely) or 2) someone figures out to break the system which the experts I listen to say is impossible. I guess a 3rd one that would ruin my day is an asteroid hits my house with my family inside while BYU is beating Utah in football deep in the 4th quarter and BTC is at $1 mil per coin.

What’s it at? I bought 30 BTC years ago when it was in the hundreds. Missed the surge when it hit 20k. So dumb of me.

Also, the limited supply only matters if there’s demand. If nobody wanted to live in the SF area it wouldn’t matter
