Here are my main take aways from that book:
We really do need 8 hours (a few people are wired for 7.5 hours, but we're fooling ourselves if we think 5 or 6 hours are enough).

It should be the same 8 hours every night, meaning bedtime and wake time should be as constant as possible (even on weekends).

The 2 hours before bedtime are important is preparing for sleep. Wind down, turn off screens, don't engage in things that wind you up, turn down the lights (e.g. turn half of them off), things like that.

Darkness is important for good sleep, so eliminate light, including LEDs from your bedroom.

There was a lot more, but those were the biggest things. I'm far from perfect on most of these, but I am trying to improve and I feel like it is helping me sleep better.
