Teams with a clinched first round bye often do the same thing in week 17
Even the Eagles did it during their Super Bowl winning year.
The Eagles chose to leave a lot of guys off the active roster last Sunday. It was weird seeing guys like Jason Kelce, Brandon Graham, and Darius Slay on the active roster because such a large portion of the roster was out.
They're not the first team to do that.
