There was never any question, though — that Gonzaga is waaay better than SDSU.

This Gonzaga team is more than Goliath. I really wish I thought coach Pope had at least a sling-stone's chance this season. (And I say this believing our current roster is more capable of taking out this Zags team than last year's roster was.)

My only solace is I'm pretty confident Pope THINKS he's got himself the right stone. And he's dialing up his practices as if he indeed has a fighting chance.
