So sorry to hear of your loss
Both my parents passed away within the last few years at age 69 and 71. In both cases it came as a shock. I know what you are feeling, and even after a few years I still miss them deeply.
The grief truly brings a different perspective to the miracle of the Resurrection. During the difficult days ahead, I pray that the Spirit will testify to you of its reality and bring you comfort as it did for me. God bless!

I'm really sorry to hear that. My dad sounds a LOT like your dad. Where was he living? You live in San Diego now, right?
