We live in Southern California and are looking to buy a rental property (single family home or condo) in Utah because the prices are lower. It would be for long-term rental (not Air B&B / short term).
I'm nervous about not being local if we don't use a property manager. Thoughts on property management, particularly for your first rental (and an out of town one at that)? Would love to hear both about those who don't use them and those who do (and any tips about both).
