Can you build a one-time sandwich at the grocery store for less than a sub shop?
I accidentally left my lunch at home so I thought about grabbing a sandwich at a JJ, Subway, Firehouse, or Jersey's place. I started thinking about how much they charge for bread with a few slices of meat.

Then an idea hit me. I have mayo and mustard packets here at the office. I wonder if I can grab a cheap baguette/french bread and a few deli slices of meat and cheese at the deli of a grocery store. How much would that cost me in comparison?

I'd lose out on toppings, but if I stick with meat and cheese, I could probably do it cheaper. Obviously buying sandwich fixings for several sandwiches over time is much cheaper. I'm thinking of a one-time sandwich.

I think I'm going to give it a shot.
