call. Google answers the phone for me and lets the caller know that google is screening and asks them for their name and a short message etc, its pretty quick. In real time i see a transcript of what the caller says and then i choose to answer, not answer, or answer and report as spam.

I used to get a lot of spam calls every week, probably in the neighborhood of 3-6 a week. Lately that number has dropped to at most 1 a week. Come to think of it, I don't think I have had one in 2021. Its been a good year ;).
