but he certainly had his share of head scratching losses with 8-5 seasons that (with your logic) should have been more like 10-3 but weren’t.

So though we would have expected Bronco to have delivered similar results with this team and this schedule, his track record doesn’t make that a sure thing. I would think he would, but he dropped some really weird losses through the years. But so has Kalani. I am just saying nothing is guaranteed with hypotheticals that can’t be tested.

Bronco may have reverted to his earlier success if he stayed around and Kalani may yet get the flywheel effect going and provide some more great years. We shall see.
