I agree with your assessment, and I think that really means his best shot to make it in the draft is for a team to ignore the combine measurables and draft him based on production and highlights in college, you have to watch his routes and his catches to really appreciate him as a WR because his best attributes as a WR don't show up in a combine test, and that iron is about as hot as it could possibly be for him right now, so I understand him putting himself out there now, and I think it will be really tough for him to replicate the stats he has now next year.
I hope he can put up a decent 40 and get drafted in a late round so that he can really get a real shot at the NFL, otherwise I worry he may never make a roster or practice squad and he is spending next fall finishing his degree on his own dime and watching BYU football from the stands, when he could be killing it on the field.
