I had great luck with USPS until this year.
I ordered a package for Christmas on December 9. It went from Stockton, California to Salt Lake, then to Eugene, Oregon, back to Stockton, onto Sacramento, then to West Valley, and then arrived in Cedar City on December 26.
I should've just had it delivered to my parents in North Salt Lake, but I have a feeling that even then, it would've taken a similar route.
