dropped football and focused primarily on baseball from the beginning then with his natural ability, his athleticism, etc. he had the stuff to make it in baseball whereas they thought NFL was always a much longer shot. But they thought the focusing on baseball ship sailed a couple years ago. Needed to do it from the get go.
