if you want drought resiliency, it IS about the snow, especially in the mountain
west. A wet winter is way more productive in terms of surface water and groundwater health and replenishment than summer storms.

Whoa. Snowpack totals look pretty scary in Utah right now. No meaningful storms in the 10 day either.
