after they've eaten it. Absolutely horrible smelling a dead mouse and not being able to find it

Use a trap(s) with p-butter. Poison them and you don't know when/where they die

I like to use English walnut halves. Use thread to tie the nut to the trigger.

Yeah as you know — we even had to have bait traps spread around the outside of our house and out by our shop even.
