USMCdad Intervention Needed
I just made a bunch of beef jerky from some old cuts in my freezer
Simple recipe

Slice thin with the grain about 1/4”

Marinated overnight
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
2 Tbsp Worcester sauce
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp season salt

Smoke lay strips on as many trays for smoker you have at smoke setting for around 3 hours is when I check it first and usually done between 3-4 hours

I then made some teriyaki ones by using the same marinade above but added a 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 Tbsp ginger and that turned out nice as well

Trim all the fat off, don’t leave any fat at all and I cut with the grain this time for a more traditional pull and chew type jerky and I liked it better than the other against the grain tender jerky but do some both ways and see what you like better. I vacuum seal mine in serving size and keep in the fridge to help it last longer
