dead last in passing defense. In his two games against average pass defenses he was decent and bad. I wouldn’t rule out a team giving him a shot as starter and I really hope he gets it, but I don’t get why people are confused that a lot of teams would rather give a shot to a QB who is 6-7 years younger and turns the ball over less frequently, not to mention may be on a rookie contract and therefore cheaper, even if they performed a bit worse than Taysom did this year. Potential growth and improvement at QB is a big deal for teams who are rebuilding, and ball security and cap space is probably a big deal for teams who think they have a roster that can win now but need a QB.
