another 3 pages of philosophical riffing afterwards. It did seem a little anti-climactic, and you could have simply cut off those 3 pages and the story wouldn't have suffered.
I agree that Vegas was too long inasmuch as EVERYTHING in the book was too long - the actual events were fine, she just needed to tighten up the prose a little bit.
In the end though, those were minor annoyances to me in a book that I still thoroughly enjoyed.
