Do any other docs think this could have been a vasovagal syncope type reaction?
I just don't see any real head trauma that happened.
I have seen people with a hypersensitive carotid sinus faint or pass-out, or get extremely lightheaded after minimal pressure on the carotid. Pressure on the neck / carotid seems to be one of the primary components of the tackle.
I can buy deljdc's explaination, but I think vasovagal reaction is a possibility.
